Roger Federer Guns Down Novak Djokovic
17-time Grand Slam Champion Roger Federer, ousts top-seeded and
defending champion Novak Djokovic, out of Dubai Championships on Friday.
Fourth-seeded Federer struggled in the first set, but thumped
back in next two sets and ended top-seed Djokovic's chance of defending his
Dubai Championships title with a 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 semifinal win on Friday. Federer
will be pursuing for his sixth Dubai title when he clashes against third-seeded
Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic in Saturday's final.

Federer, said at the moment I'm just happy that I was able
to win the match and I don't care so much about the head-to-heads, however it's
nice to be in the finals here in Dubai again. I think I was able to play a bit
more aggressive as the match went on, for me it was just a matter of playing
consistent, and remain aggressive. Clearly it was close, but I think I got the
right balance.
