Inter Milan Gets Whacked by Trabzonspor

    • The Turkish football club Trabzonspor is going party like mad as they have beaten Inter Milan after 28 years.

    Inter Milan team and fans were shocked after the whistle blew off on Wednesday, Trabzonspor achieved its Champions League debut by stunning 2010 champion Inter 1-0 Wednesday. The last time when the Turkish club won against Inter Milan was way back on September 14th 1983 with 1-0 at home, but in the first leg of their UEFA Cup series but lost 2-0 in the second leg and was eliminated.

    It was already unbelievable but amazing as how Trabzonspor made it into the group stage of this year's competition. The club finished second to Fenerbahce in the Turkish league, and then lost to Benfica in the qualifying round, however Fenerbahce was removed from the competition because it is under suspicion in a criminal probe into match-fixing, and Trabzonspor was put back into the tournament.

    Trabzonspor club started playing soccer since 1967 and they have won six championships in Turkish Super League, first Championship title in 1975.
