  • World’s Biggest Search Engine Google hits the road with its latest Google Wallet mobile payment service for the consumers from Wireless carrier Sprint Mobile.

The Web Giant has joined hands with the financial institutions like Discover, Visa and American Express to deliver the service option for the customers to pay their payments through their Smartphones. This latest service is based upon the Near Fields Communications technology to allow users to make payments.

Google has also teamed up with Financial Giants like Master Card and Citi Group as its partners. However this service is not yet available to all the customers, but users who are using Sprint’s network using the Nexus S 4G device can avail this service at this moment to pay their payments through their Citi Master Card credit cards. The other financial groups Visa, Discover and American Express credit cards will join them at the earliest.

Osama Bedier, Vice President of Payments stated a post that our ambition is to make it possible for you to utilize all of your payment cards through Google Wallet, so you can say goodbye to even the biggest traditional wallets, and this is just the beginning, and while we’re excited about this first step, we look forward to bringing Google Wallet to more phones in the future.
