Federer Beats Hewitt after Dropping First Set
The Switzerland Team is ready roar ahead in the Davis Cup Playoff after getting back to tie 1-1 against Australia, it was again the playing legend 16-time grand slam champion Roger Federer who battled hard to secure a 5-7 7-6(7-5) 6-2 6-3 victory Australia's Lleyton Hewitt.
Switzerland is now leveled up with tie with Australia as Federer’s team mate Stanislas Wawrinka lost to the young hard-hitting Aussie gun Bernard Tomic who was also down one set as the legend was watching him and that made him nervous but regained form immediately Tomic stated having Roger watch you is difficult. It's a bit difficult when you look up to your idol.
Although Tomic was one set down at 4-6 he completed the match with 4-6 6-4 6-3 6-3 and gave an hope to Australia and an upper hand to Hewitt by getting the hosts a 1-0 lead before playing against Federer. But you can’t just say it would have been easy for Hewitt, because he knows who he is competing against the one of the best player’s ever tennis has seen.
Federer was already saddened after losing in the U.S. Open semi-finals against Novak Djokovic last weekend. Therefore we can see that Roger was hungry for a win.
