All Time Greatest Tennis Year for Novak Djokovic
Novak Djokovic is at the top of the tennis world with achieving
everything in 2011 World Number Ranking Three
major Grand Slam titles and beating the gods of modern era tennis Roger Federer
and Rafael Nadal.
Djokovic started the year opening by winning the first grand
slam Australian Open and then lost his only match in this year to Roger Federer
in semifinals of the second grand slam of the year Roland Garros French Open. But
later it was moving better and better by beating Nadal in the Wimbledon Final
and lifted the title as well as the world number ATP tennis rankings for the
first time in his career.
After which Djokovic is ending the year by clinching the
final Grand Slam of the year US Open in an outstanding way by beating Roger Federer
and Rafael Nadal in Semifinal and Final. Lifting three Grand Slams in a year is
an outstanding achievement for the 24-year old Serbian with an outstanding
record of wins-losses in this year.
Djokovic and Nadal have met 29 times with Nadal having the
upper hand of 16–13, but Djokovic holds a record with Nadal 6-0 this year which
remarkably great and Djokovic and Federer have met 24 times, with Federer
leading 14–10.
Don’t worry there is plenty more tennis to come ahead let’s
see who is going triumph on the court.
