All Time Greatest Tennis Year for Novak Djokovic

  • Novak Djokovic is at the top of the tennis world with achieving everything in 2011 World Number Ranking  Three major Grand Slam titles and beating the gods of modern era tennis Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

    Djokovic started the year opening by winning the first grand slam Australian Open and then lost his only match in this year to Roger Federer in semifinals of the second grand slam of the year Roland Garros French Open. But later it was moving better and better by beating Nadal in the Wimbledon Final and lifted the title as well as the world number ATP tennis rankings for the first time in his career.

    After which Djokovic is ending the year by clinching the final Grand Slam of the year US Open in an outstanding way by beating Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in Semifinal and Final. Lifting three Grand Slams in a year is an outstanding achievement for the 24-year old Serbian with an outstanding record of wins-losses in this year.

    Djokovic and Nadal have met 29 times with Nadal having the upper hand of 16–13, but Djokovic holds a record with Nadal 6-0 this year which remarkably great and Djokovic and Federer have met 24 times, with Federer leading 14–10.

    Don’t worry there is plenty more tennis to come ahead let’s see who is going triumph on the court.
